Census Divisions

v    For census purposes, all population localities in the Sultanate (including the municipality blocks of Muscat Governorate) were divided by the census cartographers into smaller sections called census blocks.

v     Hence, census blocks were grouped into enumeration areas (90-120 households / housing units).
