The most distinguished feature of using HHD in Oman 2003 Census, was destined to be the first attempt worldwide. In addition, this project represents a tributary of its perpetual efforts & earnest desire to promote the statistical methods &  techniques in the world. Such efforts are well known & recognized by all those working  in the statistical field. This experience (attempt) can be looked upon as a corner stone on a starting point leading the way to better exploit modern technology in census, and more it forward to better achievement in this field.
